ProjectDescriptionBackground Small societies in rural areas need developing in order to get our children to stay and see the opportunities in their own municipality. To teach our youngsters to see cross the border as one more possibility to develop instead of going to major cities in their own country is important. The project “Border crossing” has been going for nine months and its already obvious effects of it. The project has more pupils and teachers taking part and methods containing a great deal can be forwarded. The project has increased from 6 to 36 schools that want to be a part of the border crossing cooperation between schools in Nordland and Norrbotten. Besides the fellow-applicant there are six more participants in the project. Objective and aim Through a well functioned cooperation and involvement between trade and industry and the school the project aim to strengthen the border crossing approach where schools and trade can complete each others. Through the entrepreneur way of looking in school the project will be a foundation stone for a wealthy cross border trade and industry in the future.
