2. Research, development and education |
| Project Name | InnoPreneurship 21 |
| ProjectDescription | The objective of the project is to:
• Increase the knowledge as to the role and the significance of entrepreneurship between the participating high schools and other public institutions in the Northern Scandinavia.
• Influence the attitudes and the culture of the participating high schools and their regional partners favouring a more “entrepreneur” way of thinking and pattern of behaviour. In practical terms, a questionnaire will be send to all concerned universities in order to evaluate different attitudes and behaviour patterns linked to entrepreneurship and innovation. This initiative will be repeated up on a yearly basis in order to follow up eventual changes. The questionnaires will also help establish the range of activities in which the co-workers have been involved, and to evaluate those activities as to be able to determine which ones function better than the others.
• Develop and promote measures that can contribute to integrating entrepreneurship into high schools´ curricula as well as in their daily routines.
• Encourage both students and teachers to start their own enterprises and/or act as entrepreneurs in their daily routines.
The aim of the project is to:
1. Develop new knowledge as to how to organise education that strengthens entrepreneurship and innovation in sparsely populated areas and in cooperation with the other countries.
2. Conduct pilot trainings in the field of entrepreneurship and innovation involving at least two universities/high schools on each occasion.
3. Establish conditions for the exchange of knowledge between the universities/high schools focusing on teachers of the subject of entrepreneurship and innovation. As this has never been done so far, the project participants should organise this in a project form as well as obtain additional knowledge about ways of subsequently integrating those issues in everyday work.
4. Establish conditions for a wider exchange of knowledge within and outside the region through creating virtual meeting places and workshops.
