ProjectDescriptionBackground Apparently maintaining is changing and looks as an opportunity to prolong value of future but also already made investments. If one study only industry works in Kemi-Tornio area there are 1 500 labour occupied in maintains direct or through maintains companies as Botnia Mill Service and Fortek. The total amount of people that come into contact with maintains services are over 2 000. Besides that there are approximate 40 small and medium sized companies that develop maintain services which indicate that the need for developing work is significant. Aim The purpose of the project is • to develop and establish innovative services in the sphere of e-maintenance for increasing productivity and accessibility in technical system as well as reducing cost for maintains. • research, develop and suggest a model for a platform for maintains services with focus on operation and maintains processing. • develop a network for work in coming European Programme Objective Objective of this project is to contribute to the improvement of the regions competitiveness by: • Create a platform e-maintenance that can be used by basic industries and small and medium sized companies. • Create a model for innovative services in e-maintenance in order to improve productivity and accessibility for technical systems as well as reducing costs for maintains services. • Create possibilities for participating in future European Programmes.
