Municipalities Gällivare, Jokkmokk, Kiruna och Pajala has high growth and a large scale of investments going on in the area. These investments together with major pensioning as well as increasing demands of competence makes maintenance of labour and knowledge support extremely important for the region in the future.
Objective and aim
This preliminary study aim at investigate possibilities for developing technical programme education to be given cross border. Educations are for basic industry as well as mining industry both in Sweden and Finland. In this study shall prioritized directions be identified. The educations will make cross border movement easier and it will be possible to read part of it for further education.
