ProjectDescriptionThe overall project goal is to create the Gulf of Bothnia as borderless. To build cross-border cooperation in the maritime area requires that the network between stakeholder groups in the public and private sector are being strengthened and that cooperation between NGOs strengthened. In addition, the goal is to establish a permanent forum for the coordination and strengthening of the maritime cooperation, which in turn increases the above network construction but also the sustainability of developments. The project aims also to raise awareness of the Gulf of Bothnia potential. ie. what the sea has to offer. The project has also intended to improve the current information delivery and offer comprehensive information about the region, objectives, services and events in a user-friendly form. The intention is also to jointly improve services and develop services, availability, and business concepts in close cooperation with maritime organizations, yacht clubs and other interest groups around the Gulf of Bothnia.
