| ProjectDescription | Background
One for Karesuvanto and Karesuando common water purification plant was ready before the end of 2007. The purpose was also to build a line. While the calculation of contract was in progress the prices on building materials increased so much that only the water purification plant could be prepared within the limits of financing. This project is needed in order to build lines and so that Swedish side could lead soil water to the new water purification plant. By uniting water lines is enough supply of clean water to both villages guarantee.
Objective and aim
The objective is that from Swedish side lead soil water through a new line to a new water purification plant on Finnish side and also to unite lines for pure water.
The project will through co-operation improve water supply and treatment of soil water.
