| ProjectDescription | Background
An informal forum/network existing of basic industry companies, regional planning authorities as well as the National Rail Administration that leads the world has established. The function of the network is to a high degree identification of basic industries need for more and better transport possibility for their activities. Concurrently with increasing environmental demand it is an increasing demand for railway conveyance of goods. Transport infrastructure in North Calotte area is to a high degree based on north-south transport stream while there is obvious lack of transverse infrastructure in the North Calotte.
Objective and aim
The purpose is to improve accessibility for sustainable transport facilities in the North Calotte area.
